Proto House at its finest ! Love Of My Own is outstanding.

To me this is deep house personified. Just raw unadulterated house music made for dancing to in a club. Wonderfully basic.

I can't believe nobody has commented on this record. Love Of My Own is a beautifully melodic instrumental deep house track full of ambient, moody riffs which really touch the soul. This EP was a collaboration between Larry Heard and Joe R Lewis and is very much in the vein of Larry Heard's earlier releases under the alias of Mr Fingers. I would highly recommend this EP for any deep house collector. However, it is pretty tough to get hold of a copy these days, especially in good shape.
