Edited 14 days agoThis is my favourite YELLO album. Deep and emotional with delicate TOUCH masterpice!
I listened through AKG K702 headphones and through my main speaker system and with each time I love it even more. These are my 1st colour vinyl and it has slightly more delicacy in sound sig than say black version of the other albums I own, say Point Yello. The sound is involving with amazing sig through the whole spectrum. If you like to test the low end of your system, get it and you will know. I dont own original, but have heard several times on pretty good system in the shop, but I dont feel 100% sure to say what the differences may are, so I leave it there.
On the critical side, I wouldnt mind to see the code inside at least. Further more, paper inner sleeves and bit flimsy cover doesnt make this release feel Anniversary. Also would be great to have some several pages booklet with extra pics and stories behind it, but unfortunately.
Whichever way, to me, this one must have as, at the end, it comes to music anyway.
For those who are doubting about how it may sound, go and visit my Yo.T..e videos, if you like of course, search with WLM Lyra and you will see the following channel: Blue Midnight. Enjoy! -
Edited 21 days agoThis is a very good edition. Unfortunately, the print run will be small, so the price will rise significantly soon.

This sounds phenomenal. Does it sound as good as the original? Maybe not. Does it still sound better than the vast majority of records in your collection? Absolutely.

great press (as expected from pallas), clean, dynamic, top quality in my opinion.
absolute purchase recommendation.
1 star deducted for the hard inner sleeves.
the day will come when producers realize that hard covers are poison for the vinyls.
suggestion for future productions: polylined inner sleeves and a small booklet for the photos.

Edited one month agoJust got this and it sounds amazing. If the original pressing sounds better than this then it must rank up there with one of the best sounding LPs of all time. I'm very happy with this one, both discs are flawless which is not always the case with coloured vinyl these days. But, yet again, NO POLYLINED INNER SLEEVES.

I don't know why many people are complaining, let's be happy that it was reissued on vinyl. This edition sounds nice, clean and dynamic with elegant deep tones, I don't have any pops or crackles. The design is also nice, the gold and silver look good on the discs. I don't know the first vinyl edition, but I don't have a very good opinion of GZ vinyls and I think they are seriously overpriced. I strongly recommend this copy while it's still available. By the way, with limited editions, unfortunately, only the buyers are punished. -
Well,it is not good as the first pressing. It is well mastered but missing the magic of first press.I did not compare but i know..i can hear it...and yes.I do have a pristine copy of the first press. This one has some faint clicks and pops even after some wet cleaning..The first press was made from GZ media and that is a pure lottery to have a perfect copy from them.As far as i know they did a great job and no one complained about it.To be honest about this one..i do not like the silver gold press. Some regular not limited black could be just fine. The cover is just nice, gate fold but matte print. The original is so much better, glossy and luxurious at first glance.

This was a gamble, as i sent back all of the reissues i bought a year or two back. They were simply put horrible excuses of a repress. The accompanying maxi-singles was bland, washed out facsimiles of the originals (which i have, all but one or two).
This reissue is much more like the original press, and while not quite as good, this issue is worth having.
But for pete's sake, give me my BLACK VINYL! -
Very good pressing and a good buy if you can’t afford the first pressing which is superior I’m afraid…
