Audio wise it sounds nice. No pops or unnecessary noises on mine.

This pressing is just okay. I don't know if it's the music itself or how it was mixed, but like a commenter below stated, everything beyond the first tracks on each side are muddy as hell. I have a more revealing setup so maybe this is why, but I'm really unimpressed by this.

Another quality pressing. Got to hand it to the Foos, I have yet to hear an official pressing that did not sound awesome!

This was the first cd I ever bought new from Circuit City as a kid and I will say this might be one of my favorite albums by the Foo Fighters. The vinyl version blows the CD's quality away right when you hear that first snare hit from Taylor (Or possibly Dave) on Stacked Actors. This album is truly a heartbreak and a bitter sweet listen now that we lost one of the greats, Taylor Hawkins (RIP). The man shines on this album, and this pressing doesn't shine away with drums sounding so great.

Dropcard number on my copy is slightly different---I've got 88697983241-I1RE1. All of the other identifying information is identical to this entry, as far as I can tell.

I had high hopes for this one after reading all of the rave reviews on sound quality. I do have to say that the first track on each of the 4 sides does sound terrific and I would have been very happy if the entire album sounded like that, but the sound degraded after track 1 on each side. The worst offenders were Learn to Fly, which had some sibilance issues and Generator, which had underlying distorted artifacts in the background especially at the end of each chorus and during the bridge. All of the other tracks that I had issue with mainly had a general lack of fidelity and borderline distortion during louder portions. I played all of the tracks on my linear tracking turntable and my pivot arm turntable, both of which yielded the same results. All in all it is listenable and not completely terrible, but still very disappointing because this album has always been a favorite of mine and I was expecting a much better experience from this pressing. Regardless of my issues, the pressing is clean and quiet and the non-gatefold jacket is okay quality. Maybe I just got a bad copy? I don’t know. Everyone else seems to be happy with theirs, so it should still be worth buying.
