Edited 20 days agoIm interested on what number do yall have on this. I have No. 2471. Does anyone have lower than 1000?

I have lots of editions of the White Album (it's become unhealthy).
I have listened to and compared the following Stereos:/This one (i.e. the Dutch 'Glass Union' issue).
OG
MFSL
1970's German issue
1980's German analog DMM
1980's German Digital DMM
1998 30th anniversary CD
2012 Digital remaster
2018 Remix (which obviously is too different to really compare)
Obviously every version has its strengths and weaknesses, but the Glass Union is a really special pressing. While the bass is very present and clear on the whole I'd say that clarity is where it really excels. There is great separation and detail in the grooves of this one!
Get it before it's too late! -
Edited 4 months agoThe catalogue numbers on the record labels should read : 1A 138-04173 / 1A 138-04174 as on the illustrations on this listing.

Yup just playing this now and can echo the other rave reviews. It’s absolutely phenomenal. The level of detail, clarity, and richness is over the top. Sounds exploding out of the speakers, wow! I’m surprised there are any of these for sale at all lol

Ranked as the #1 BEST sounding White Album by Andrew from Parlogram channel, this record is perfectly well balanced. In other words you will HEAR instruments and nuances of the music that you never heard before even when you played other versions of this album 10,000 times as I did. Forget the 2018 remix. THIS is the way to appreciate the album as it will feel like it's the first time you play it, and that your ears are ing every sound in the recording. It's worth the money.

Edited one year agoCrazy good. As good as any Beatles pressing I own in of audiophile qualities. Martha My Dear is a standout, and Savoy Truffle for the weird and interesting soundstage.
Any true Beatles fan should own stuff like this. Mastering like this is why we like vinyl, these are versions of cherished songs that you can't simply stream. -
Also here because of Parlogram. Had to jump through a few hoops to get here. First copy arrived in the post broken in two! Never happened to me before. Anyway, got sorted eventually, and yes this record does sound really good in a really natural way. It's really warm and clear. The recordng really comes alive but not in an obnoxious, loud way. It's intimate and somehow more inviting. Hard to explain. There's good separation for sure, and it has that wonky Beatles stereo thing going on. I'd suppose the white album has that "throw everything at it and see what sticks" thing going on. This pressing kind of manages to make it feel both warm and cohesive yet dynamic and punchy. Really happy to have this pressing.

Edited one year agoThis pressing came across my radar after watching Parlogram's White album video on YouTube. I waited for months to get a copy and I finally got myself one. All I have to say is wow, just wow. This pressing is just so well-balanced and exciting to listen to. Compared to the other stereo versions I’ve heard, including the 1987 CD which was a straight transfer of the master tape with no EQ changes, this Dutch pressing is my absolute go-to when I want to listen to this album. I LOVE the way the bass sounds on this, it's very rich and tight. This pressing just has a special punch to it, what an absolute treat to have in my vinyl library.

Edited 2 years agoCame here from Parlogram Auctions' suggestion. Not dissapointed. Great balanced cutting, good pressing on nicely quiet vinyl!
I don't mind the missprinted tracknames.
