I wonder if Cosmic Evolution was inspired by CJ Bolland's famous Horsepower track released about a year prior to this. I think of Cosmic Evolution as a less intense and more trancey version of Horsepower in a way.

"cosmic evolution" is "minimalism" in perfection - in a positive way,
an amazing classic, reduced to the max; deep, dark & mysterious,
offering exactly the exciting feeling of techno 1991,
and the name fits perfectly to it's mood..!

One of Overdrive's earliest and most successful forays into Trance. One of Dj Tom's earliest records (2'nd, I think (?) after Brain-e, also on Overdrive)
"Cosmic Evolution" A beutifully rendered HardTrance track without any dark edges, Uplifting, in a cheese-free manner.
"The Pump" Quirky concept track with the
rhythm & percussion programmed to sound like a demented Pump with Epilepsy.
"Mastercore" Dark ravey HardTrance made for huge Space Arenas.
"Outerythm" More quirky and unusual rhythm programing creating an unusual HardTrance Rave track.
