A very dated feeling album. Hardrock is so similar to Rockit that I thought it had been readded to this album.
Nothing really jumps out as a must listen song. If I had to pick a favorite i'd go with Karabali. -
Couldn't agree less with the negative comment below. Great fun, this one. Herbie, Laswell and their vast cast of incredible contributors create a rich tapestry of sound, influence and prediction (Africa, America, tradition and science-fiction) like the master weavers they were. This is '80s fusion as a set of possibilities where '70s fusion ultimately ru]an out of fuel (did the energy crisis of that decade have a cultural impact? Maybe). I love this one as much as its predecessor, Rockit.

I have a promo copy of this pressing..etched P on both sides..only thing stamped is MASTERDISK which has etched hw right under it..the only promo entry I could find on discogs is a Japanese pressing
