There are few movies that sew up the 1980's better than Less Than Zero. Even more so than the Breakfast Club for anyone growing up, or DJ'ing, in Los Angeles. It has many of the big names from the brat pack, and embodies the demise of what the excesses of the 1980's, the lifestyle, and fame can bring. Every song on this soundtrack stands out on it's own as an icon of it's era and persona. Brought together, both the movie and album embodies an irreconcilable slice of Americana.
