Notes
Scattered across our little blue planet, the of the Goa / Psy-Trance group on Discogs united in September 2010 to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of our forum. Focusing on Goa Trance made before the year 2000, we kept our selection of tracks limited to those that never made it to a CD / digital release. The concept has been to provide a self-funded release, using our smiles to sway all the artists into allowing us to use their beautiful work, with any proceeds going to the charity Children Walking Tall. This compilation is limited to 604 copies.
Mastered with love @ The Stooodio, Bristol, UK.
Released in a Super Jewel Box Standard Fliptray with 12-page booklet.
Copyright © 2011 DAT Mafia Recordings.
Tracks 2-2, 2-7 and 2-10 are marked as: Previously released on vinyl only. All other tracks are previously unreleased.
Track 2-2 listed on back cover as "Total Eclipse & Simon Posford - Sound Is Solid (Remix)".
Total duration:
CD 1: 78:10
CD 2: 78:55
Track lengths have been adjusted to reflect the real length, as on the back cover many are listed as longer.
Originally pressed in a limited quantity of 604 copies, in December 2014 a further 400 copies were repressed.

Edited 10 months agoI have to say that this is up there with the very best Goa Trance compilations out there, if not THE best. The quality of all the tracks is of the highest standard and you can't say that about most compilations out there that top up their releases with filler tracks. These are all gold! Highly recommended. I also love the back story of how this CD came into fruition.

Edited 6 years agoGreat release ! My only reproach is the Sound is not Clear enough !
That would be Nice a Clearer Remastered Version someday with nowaday's Mastering ! ;) -
Edited 13 years agoLovely treaty for a old Goa fan. Great choice of tracks, and the packaging is brilliant. Only track I don't enjoy is Full Monty, I respect the choice & the work put into it but it's just not my cup of Goa. Played a lot of these tracks in my retro trance set in a big club on an awesome sound system, it worked really well and held it's own against the more modern styles other dj's played. More than I can say for my cd's back pre-2000. Crowd was very young (18-22yo) and it went off!!
Big thanks to all the crew & muso's behind this. Fingers crossed no. 2 might be out sooner rather than later!!
