Revisiting the box 6 months later all the way through. My opinion hasn't changed, I adore everything about this set, it's an absolute essential and one of the best box sets in my collection of one of my all time favorite albums.

I ordered mine directly from anjuna and it says that it was released in March but doesn't ship until November. What's that about? How is it possible that they're taking pre-orders for something that already released

purchased solely for the club mixes, they themselves are already worth the pricing. Next to that, this box is beyond amazingly well crafted!

and certain sellers here already selling this box for double or triple of the original price while lots of copies are available for original price of 185$.

Incredible release. Vinyl sounds amazing, no clicks pops or anything else. Box is, when you buy it at the official anjunabeats store, not cheap but compared to the prices people ask for the original vinyl release this one is a bargain. P.S. To get this one from UK to EU you also need to pay approx 30 euro tax, thanks to Brexit. Package was btw in my case good, came here without any damage.

How does this come packaged for transport to prevent damage ? The website has no customer service or anyway to them if item arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive so a bit wary of buying this

Well... Mixed feelings on this box. Yeah, collectors edition, great package, great music. But still.
1) The card with thank you is not physically signed by artists, their signatures are just printed. If this is so special edition where was the problem to sign these thank you cards by hand? this would add additional "personal" touch to this release especially for collectors (I personally not a fan of signatures).
2) 28 page booklet contains only few photos and most of the pages are filled with notes. These notes could be printed on 2-3 pages leaving other space for more interesting/exclusive content.
3) Poster is obivously folded so color on bent lines came off. Second slipmat instead in my opinion would have more value.
4) UPD: Tracks seems are not edited on vinyl itself. just checked ending of AVB remix - in digital version it is shortened to 45 seconds, on vinyl about 1.15 min as it is on Captivating release. Miracle sounds fine too. For full verification it needs to be recorded.
5) Sound quality of High frequencies noticably drops towards the center of the record. Compare high freq at the beginning of On a Good Day and then check ending of the track. Album however does not affected so much as it is original issue repress and their previous albums on vinyl have really good sound.
So kinda cool to have this but i didnt see the same amount of effort put in this release as it was on their previous vinyl albums.

one thing i find very confusing is the two buying options of this on their website. i see no difference, same price even. does anyone know?

A masterful collectors item through and through. Packaged fairly well, so didn’t have any damage from transit (lucky). All discs are flat, clean, and on center (rare to find these days). Sound quality is fantastic, wow. No background noise at all, powerful sound, and well balanced. Overall, they seemed to put a lot of care and attention to this piece. Appears to have used a quality record plant as well.
