Is it just me or does this master not really cut it? Feels like it’s missing loads of low end and the mix just sounds messy. A Spotify stream of through the same system has more pronounced low end than this vinyl.

This pressing is very good. Perhaps not as punchy as i would like but there is no surface noise and Dizzee's voice sounds great as does the drums. Not sure how rare these are and i can't say it's the best press as i don't have any others to compare it to. However, very good!

Sittin' Here has such bad hiss that it's nearly unlistenable. The rest of the A-side has noise too, but it's not nearly as bad as the A1 cut. B-side sounds much better.
Side note: this pressing doesn't include the (excellent) song Vexed - that tune only shows up on the American releases of Boy In Da Corner. -
Edited 5 years agoSittin here has some hiss on the 's' sounds and is a little distorted. On the whole though it's a decent pressing, it's a bit loud and peaky, but probably due to the masters, i imagine. On an asthetic note the labels are on the wrong sides of the discs. -
I ordered a copy of this record last week and i received the mispress copy straight from the distributor. So watch out when you buy this as the mispress copies are still in distribution!!

Good pressing! love the yellow, and really nice packaging! But quite noisy and distorted on the very first side, especially in Sitting Here! Besides that, its great!
