Mac Miller – Watching Movies With The Sound Off

Oh man he's not on the cover, that's so depressing.

One of, if not my favorite album growing up.. Listening to mac daily in middle school, high school, etc, bittersweet getting this record in today. Will forever love this album!

I’m probably a little biased when it comes to this record. It was the album that came out at the time I was really getting into mac’s music and it changed how I viewed a lot of modern rap / music in general. I love that the theme of this project is birds… miss you mac!

makes me emotional, man. just got my copy and it makes me miss mac all the more. reading his prologue and track commentary on the printed inner... goosebumps. a great artist, gone too soon. love you mac <3

mac’s most artistic album by far, everything about this is amazing

One of if not my favorite album of all time. Everything about this record is amazing. I preordered in June, and received it in November and would have happily waited a year+ to get it it’s that’s good. Sound quality is excellent and it’s a must have for any Mac fan. 10/10

I'm very happy that I was finally able to get my hands on this edition of the album. I'm not a big fan of Mac's work before GO:OD AM, but this album is the only one from that time (Macadelic, Faces) that I liked. I don’t take Balloonerism, that’s a different conversation).

So, regarding the record itself. The first thing that upset me was the lack of any markings (at least on the side). I understand that the box is large and that it’s already clear what kind of vinyl it is, but still. The second complaint is that the antistatic bags included are complete crap. I immediately changed them to high-quality ones, although usually if antistatic is included, I don’t change it. Everything is really bad here, as if I had a Soviet record from Melodiya, and not Mac Miller. Well, it’s probably all bad. Now on to the good stuff. The packaging is just fire. The quality of the cardboard is superb. The sound from vinyl is also good. No comments.

A must have for every Mac Head ! Really really nice packaging but more important the pressing is dead silent with excellent sound quality !

Does anyone know what the piece of clear red plastic that came with the picture disc is for? I thought it might’ve been for the zoetrope but tried that and it didn’t work

This release is worth every dollar. The thought that went into the packaging and the OG version of The Star Room and the previously unreleased track The Quest on the zoetrope 10" are incredible. Mac's estate/mom and rostrum did an amazing job on this.
