Released in jewel case and 20-page color booklet with commentary [解説] at Oct. '78 [on October 1978] by Michiko Suzuki / 鈴木道子, credits, lyrics in both English and Japanese which translated [訳詞] by あらい・あきら [Akira Arai].

Golden disc. The CD also comes with a light blue box-style obi. The front sleeve comprises a 20-page booklet featuring liner notes in Japanese and lyrics in both English and Japanese.

      I agree that this is the first release in cd. Actually 50 titles were simultaneously released and consequently numbered but this one just happened to be the first in that numbering. The notes in this submission are VERY confusing as they suggest there was a repress of that first release.

        If I am right, this is the first Compact Disc officially released in the world.
        Reached the shops in the 1st of October, 1982, together with the Sony's CD player CDP-101 in Japan.
        That was 30 years ago...
