Notes
First Canadian issue with the appearance of the album “Gigi (Original Cast Sound Track Album)” on the front cover airbrushed out due to potential copyright issues. Unlike later issues, the Harvest logo and the "Special Buy! Contains Two Complete LPs" language on the front cover is absent. Some issues came in a loose plastic wrap that allowed the gatefold to be opened.
Front Cover: On the top right seam is a small black circle that is divided into two halves, indicating that this is a stereo release. This circle may not appear positioned correctly on some copies due to manufacturing variations.
Spine: [Modern Graphics logo] Litho in Canada
Labels: Yellow / green Harvest labels. Text around the bottom edge of the label starts at 9 o'clock and says: Harvest is a trade mark of Capitol Records, Inc. - Manufactured in Canada by Capitol Records (Canada) Ltd.
Comes in a gatefold sleeve.

Live album recorded at Mothers Birmingham & Manchester College of Commerce, June 1969.
In the upper right corner of the Gatefold Sleeve the inscription 388

Side A is the best, with a Barrett composition (though he was already out of the band), and several murky prog rock pieces finishing the A side and the whole B side that are early Pink Floyd staples. The studio disc (record 2) is way more experimental, and not always successful. Richard Wright seems to be the only one who is seriously focused on composition. Otherwise, the contributions from the remaining are way less defined. Interesting, and even at times brilliant, but there is also a lot of dawdling. Regardless, Ummagumma pushed rock music into a very interesting direction, and Pink Floyd got much better at trimming the fat in later releases and staying focused on a unified sound.
