Question for everyone with this original Euro pressing: are the guitars folded down to mono (in the center of the stereo field, behind the vocals) on this pressing as well? The original U.S. vinyl pressing has that! Not on the old CD though, all rhythm guitars are spread to the sides as they should be on the CD. But in the official U.S. vinyl the guitars always sounded quiet and phase-y to me, and I just listened again and realized all of the rthm gtrs are in the center! Very weird. Everything else in the mix is still in stereo... That means American Recordings sent the mix off to be mastered and pressed with the gtrs already summed to mono. No fathomable clue why they would've done that, besides by mistake... So i was wondering if the Euro pressing has that same anomaly.
Thank you in advance to anyone who checks their copy. Come on back & let me know! -
My copy is also blank/black on inside. In 94', had the LP signed by the band on that tour. I Glenn bringing the blank cover's attention to one of his management/crew and griping about it and him visually inspecting to make sure it was legit since he is infamous for not g bootlegs. But, they all signed so must be official. Not sure if these were subsequently pulled from distribution due to printing error. If so, could be quite the rarity.
