      We love this band in Australia. 30+ years together and STILL touring. To commemorate The Mentals (as we affectionately call them) being inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Hall of Fame this Best of has been compiled. Not too bad a history for five lads who met in art school and kicked started their career doing gigs at local pubs in Sydney. Their back catalogue was extensively remastered a few years ago and now all the hits have been collected together in one place and they sound spectacular. But wait, there's more....Not only do you get a 24 track cd including the world wide smash "Live It Up", you also get a 37 track dvd with all of their ground-breaking videos included as a bonus (this is the first time their videos have been released on one dvd).

      For those who would like more info on the journey that this great band have been on, there is a very extensive essay by well known Australian music guru Glenn A.Baker included in the accompanying booklet. And for those of you who would like to add a great cd of true Australiana music to to your collection, you can't go wrong with "Essential As Anything".
