d|p 4 brings me to tears every time I hear it. To me it's one of the most beautiful and moving ambient pieces ever created.

I will comment here, but I can't tell them apart. "TDL I-IV" is really something. I mean, the story behind them is one, their 'life' as a close group of records is two, but how they sound and change the way of percepting music is just unforgettable. OK, Pink Floyd is unforgettable - William Basinski may seem to be yet another ambient soundweaver who's listened to too much music in his life and now delights himself in silence. But try to really HEAR this, getting lost in this movement of loops, how they shift and mesmerize. Check No. II for starters.
