manage to get one copy with a minor scratch on the start of side 1 (a ) but overall its fine . this is my first time listening to atom heart mother and its a different experience than dark side of the moon , how i wish you were here , the wall . side a has minimal vocals but focus on instrumental experiments and ambient atmosphere which i love . overall its a good copy and im glad to place it with my other pink floyd albums . i started with aphex twin , boards of canada and thievery corporation and now i kinda realize its influence .

Never realised how much music, running time wise, they managed to squash on one vinyl. The first truly great Pink Floyd lp

I have version 3C 062-04550 with italian HARVEST green label saying MAD IN ITALY wrong spelled, but the sleeve deadwax have stamped text 1045501.A 19.4.89 THE PINK FLOYD HARVEST FCORTEZ as the Portuguese release. Is this a possible combo? Or is it an italian counterfeit? Any of all you experts that have a clue?

              Cheers

Attn sellers: I lost my disc to this but still have the sleeve. My sleeve is 1970 but i'm looking to replace the disc. Looking for any kind of 70s print Harvest label of this, just disc only. If anyone's got one in VG or better condition but don't have a jacket, DM me, I would be interested in buying disc only. Thank you

This album sums up what I wish pink floyd would do more of; wild experimentation. An excellent left field record as grand as it is pastoral.

I found this article online about Atom Heart Mother, sums the album up pretty well I think:
'Critical reaction to the suite has always been mixed, and all band have expressed negativity toward it in recent times. Gilmour has said the album was "a load of rubbish. We were at a real down point ... I think we were scraping the barrel a bit at that period" and "a good idea but it was dreadful... Atom Heart Mother sounds like we didn't have any idea between us, but we became much more prolific after it."Similarly, in a 1984 interview on BBC Radio 1, Waters said "If somebody said to me now – right – here's a million pounds, go out and play Atom Heart Mother, I'd say you must be f*ing joking."
