apart from PRINCE ( almost 40) i collect the time (4), morris day(3) and andre cymone (3). all funky ,all had the minneapolis sound.

Picked up this cd on a record fair for 2.50 euro....somehow never came across it back in the day or just bought other stuff.
A seller promised me earlier to bring a crate of Prince bootlegs....turned out to be 2....I picked some 4 of them out and the 2nd Time cd that I also didn't have and another Morris Day cd.....got a very good price for it all. -
He began his career with Prince when they were still in high school...Over the decades he was down and then up with the mega rock star...BUT this LP was when he was on the skids with his old music pal and it is ALL MD's own doing...Actually not a bad album with plenty of funk and Minnesota groove on all the cuts...Read his biography recently and Morris had a MORE than interesting life AND career....Talent shows here for your ears...Yes, he did get SUCCESS and this is just one small piece of the Morris Day musical pie...I have always been a HUGE TIME fan and even saw him perform THREE times...Dynamic and an audience pleaser, Morris Day IS the real musical thang...
