Listening to Fluke's remix is just another lesson of what it's like to be in the right place at the right time. A song, by one of the most recognized rock groups of their time, remixed by Fluke, at the apex of their time. When someone tells you they heard a remix by the group, this is what you would've imagine it would sound like. It's as if Fluke mashed together the unrelenting intensity of Wipeout 2097's "Atom Bomb" and the epic bitter-sweet nature of "Goodnight Lover". If this wasn't the quintessential sound of "Risotto", then nothing ever came close.

It's also the first track I've ever heard (EVER!) to literally switch to mono during its final moments. I couldn't believe it when I heard it for the first time, and still can't believe it to this day. The experience is so jarring when listening to headphones, it actually sounded like a legitimate mastering goof. After each listen though, it became more and more obvious that its direction was deliberate, as its transitioning times and loudness mastering were flawless. So I plugged it in to a big sound system, and yeah... the bigger picture became clear. Everything culminates to what I can only describe as a white-hot sound, cranking up the excitement level to an 11, just before closing out. Truly incredible! It's one of the most risky and ambitious sound designs I've heard in a remix, and I recommend any Fluke aficionado to experience it like I did.
