Wow people really believe nonsense like that? I'm sure a straight cd-image wouldn't get around a watermark but literally everything else would. Or are they using a really figurative version of the word "watermark" and they actually mean the audio has been damaged in a pattern? How did they plan for the watermark to be visible if someone stuck 1 microphone each in front of both speakers and recorded it that way?
Then again they've been pushing the myth of "copy protection" being possible in the first place, so reality isn't their strong suit. It's like the BBC and their "TV Detector Vans".
