Huge Bleep track, deep deep bassline, haunting synths, & the bleep loop, put together perfectly. Massive track back in its day, still sounds amazing today, a must have for any fan of the 90's scene.

Not sure everyone applauded when it came out (it's possible, just not round my way!) but it was certainly a brand new sound and it could wreck your sound system if you cranked it. House music cut down right to the bone and warped into techno.

From its simple casio-like square wave melody, loose 808 percussion, and dramatic synth pads, this record still is a blueprint for minimal techno almost 21 years later. Its a rare classic that can still be mixed in with modern tracks and not stand out as sounding too dated. The only giveaways are the somewhat unsteady arrangement (due to being recorded as a live mix using an analog mixer), and the saturated sound from being mastered to tape. Neither are negatives in my opinion - modern minimal techno tracks could benefit from those qualities. 4.5/5
