I know it goes against what people say, but I think this TROUNCES over the A2/B2. I have no particular reason to say why but after listening I just feel the need to never reach for my A2/B2 again. I don't think it's buyer delusion, I never suffer from that. If I don't like something I don't convince myself I do. Also, the actual quality of the vinyl is millennia better than the A2/B2 obviously and that would be enough for me

After acquiring this and owning every "Sought After" pressing known to man lol, my favorite is the Japanese Quad vinyl pressing. It is perfect in every way. My second favorite is the A2/B2 UK and my third favorite is between this and the Japanese second pressing. Different systems may have different results, but that is my ranking based on what I hear on my system.

I finally have a copy of this on the way. I hope that it sounds as awesome as everyone says..will leave my opinion once it arrives and I have the opportunity to give it a listen.

Well, did the bubble break for everyone on the selling platform, sellers, manufacturers balloon the prices before the end is near of sales dippiping into oblivion. I agree you need to take a second out on a house to get some repressed that, maybe, might sound better, but afraid to play due to reselling damage. Totally agree with some pressings sound better, but highly believe a 2nd 3rd press, or even a Nimbus press exceeds in sonic representations of this, or equivalent classic LPs.
The vinyl market now is like collecting used cars and putting them into garages, having them, not enjoying them. Prime example, Led Zepplelin Box set, you could get it here for $25k. 52 single sided 200gm albums in a nice road case that you can store right along your other massive box sets you acquire.
The spirit of finding OG presses in the wild are still here, but rare. But to overlook and buy this, or some other UHQ, or other Walmart reissues, Ide rather spend the extra time and scavenge through stores where I just got a CBS Halfspeed of Bostons self titled LP. Pristine quality $60, watch it go on Mofi for double .
I think when the market is oversaturated with reissues, the bubble is over as far resales quality 1st presses. Walmart will continue to get richer for selling colored limited pressings of God knows what, compared to go to a original brick and mortar store getting the equivalent for less.
The bubble has burst, and soon this will become a fad once again, fall among the wayside of corporate creed and overpriced zealots hoping to make a quick buck in the process.

I'm gonna tell you right now that this price for this pressing is not worth it and there's others that will get you more bang for your buck. The 30th anniversary pressing from 2003 is AAA and sounds fantastic, you can get a clean copy for an easy $200 and is the third best pressing of this album
