Notes
Deluxe edition and 180 gram heavy vinyl per label website. Released in a die-cut outer sleeve, contains a printed inner sleeve with lyrics, and a fold-out Leporello poster. Some copies include a hype sticker. Preordered copies were shipped to customers one week earlier than the official release date.
Autographed versions were available for 24 hours only by leaving the comment CLEAN_MY_MEMORY during the preorder process.
Track A1 is an extended vinyl-exclusive edit, with a length of 5:08 compared to 3:39 on CD/digital releases.
The album title "More D4ta" is an anagram of Moderat 4 - to state this as the 4th album by the band. It also refers to the time when Moderat made this record: the corona pandemic when everything moved more and more into the digital world. Therefore is the release title on front, spine, back, inner sleeve, label side A and B and poster: "MORE D4TA".
Artist name on hype sticker: "MODER4T"
Artist name on back, inner and poster: "MODERAT"
Written and produced [in] Berlin [in] 2021.

The sound quality is good. Very dynamic, and superb bass. Unfortunately some pops and clicks, even after cleaning. Also had one copy before current one and both are not death flat. I had to return the previous one which was unplayable.

Edited 2 years agoI received 2 copies with an audible hairline scratch (pop) on A3 Drum Glow and returned both copies. Fom the comments here I assume I was just unlucky.. Overall the record looked as if damaged either by packiging (cardboard sleeve) or production error.

Anyone know how many of the signed Deluxe there are? ("Autographed versions were available for 24 hours only by leaving the comment CLEAN_MY_MEMORY during the pre-order process.")

I don't like this new "artwork", and moderat 4 = mode d4ta it's... a little bit basic.
The "deluxe version" (7€ more expensive here) is really a basical one, without code .. well, strange choice.
By the way, some good tracks, some more random. I think I'm now just happy to have a chance to see them again in live -
Edited 2 years agothe endless debate over what to call this LP is nothing short of crass or is that crⒶss... :)

it's a great pity that monkeytown doesn't manage to include a code with the deluxe version. No fan service!
