Pretty sure I got a dud because my copy sounds awful :/ record is full of sibilance that only gets worse as it nears the center of the record and it overall just sounds very compressed. -
Not sure if this only happened to me but my record had black residue on it fresh out of the shrink. Thankfully some cleaning removed it and it didn’t leave any skips behind but I found it odd. -
The record is BEAUTIFUL but my copy sounds AWFUL. it is warped to the point of almost being unplayable and the tracks that do play go up and down in pitch constantly. Will attempt to flatten but might have to dump money on a new one…

This sounds incredible on vinyl. Very punchy and clear, yet still warm. (Sibilance is a touch hot on some songs that are closer to the middle of the record on first listen, but nothing too egregious.) So happy to have this!

Edited 3 years agoI was so surprised when I pulled the record out of its sleeve and it was WHITE! Also, when you hold it up to the light, there is a slight marble effect. My copy sounds good. The songs are loud and punchy, but there is a slight bit of sibilance, specifically on “Bottle It Up” and “Come Round Soon”, but this could be due to static or dust as I’m judging off of my first play. Will update if that’s the case, side B seems to be slightly less sibilant. There isn’t much surface noise during the songs, but there is a bit of crackle in between. -
So this vinyl is actually white!?!? I was so pleasantly surprised from what I understand they did not it as a colored release!
