This LP comes pressed on Transparent Curacao 180 gram vinyl, housed in a thick (350gsm) single sleeve (printed blue on the inside), card printed lyric insert, white coated inner, all placed in a clear protective outer sleeve with barcode sticker. Limited to 993 copies.

Edited one year agoSound was greatly improved by a wet cleaning to remove the bits left over from pressing. That said, I found this album to be a deeply moving experience. Gentle, fragile, tinged with sorrow and dust -
"For the last time, for the very last time..." On this album, David Tibet channels from the ancient Akkadian Omen Series to foretell of nursery rhyme endings to the world. Of dogs on fire, of the Death Guard, the Cream of Queens and Dreams of Kingdom, of a City set on a height and the City gate is shut. The instrumentation weeps and sways and gently carries along in a manner as solemn and forlorn as a funeral procession. This is the sound of a band 40 years in the making, elegant and mature. I listened to this album for a week straight, and it hits me and hurts me just a little more each time. As for the vinyl itself, it's a beautiful presentation, with my only real complaint being a bit of popping on the first side, but nothing that renders the songs unlistenable. I'll treasure this album and anxiously await for the next C93 release, the next Channeling, when a crack opens up and the Nodding Gods come out to play and gamble, to skip and to hop, and have PickNicks. -
Edited 3 years agoJust got this. The pressing is fantastic and quite a lovely colour to be honest. High quality work on this one. Clean, lush sound, wide range, perfect listening experience.
The music - outstanding. There is a type of growth with this album for Tibet. What's it been? 40 years of making music? And look at the transformation that has taken place since the first album. For many years Thunder Perfect Mind has been the be all for me until now. This album has taken that place for me. It is really amazing. Kudos to Tibet. For some time I have felt the C93 output has been just there to get a release out but this, this is a game changer and like I said, to me, this is even better then TPM. Outstanding album. Get it while you can because you know what will happen when this is no longer being made. Just look at the stupid prices for TPM (i an aware it was reissued on lp in 2018 hence look at the stupid prices for something reissued in 2018).
