Edited 2 years agoSnagged both this and volume 2 at Walmart for $15 a piece and I have to say that I was little worried about that after reading these reviews, but overall, I think this sounds fantastic and is quite clear and is probably one of GZ's better pressing jobs. Both records were perfectly on center and no warping. If you can snag it for $15, grab it!
Listening on an ATLP120XUSB with a VM95ML cartridge. -

Not that impressed overall. Sound is ok but not stunning, and lots of debris due to non-lined inner sleeves. Had 2 copies with the same pressing fault at the end of Once. Also lots of marks from poor handling when they were packed. Hoping a third copy won't have these problems.... -
My records were both covered in debris from the paper sleeves :(
Disappointed the cover doesn’t have the mirror finish of the original press. -
Impressed by the sound on the first Disc, but Sound D sounded poor on my system, quite muddy and muffled. I suspect these will need a good clean, echoing the other comments made so far, as the paper sleeves were disappointing and left lots of detritus on the records. I would recommend if a good cleaning helps fix the poor sound on side D.

Impressed by the sound quality on these, great separation on the instruments. No issues with sound, pressing etc. However the paper sleeves I felt were a real let down, lots of dust on my records which needed a clean prior to playing.

Sounds great, nice first half of the combo but my copy had a damaged jacket because they put the wrapping so fucking tight on it. What’s with these bloody companies using crappy poly plastic wrapping and practically vacuum sealing it! -
Great sounding pressing and a nice product in general. Shame about the inners though - so much paper crap left on the discs that they needed a thorough clean before playing. Just put photos/credits on an insert and give us poly-lined inners from the factory FFS!
