Anybody getting a weird patch of low fidelity in the beginning of Lovelight? It starts out ok, then goes into like a minute of poor fidelity, then switches back.
-
I saw a review of this show recently calling it a very poor performance.
I could understand someone bitching about sound quality. But poor performance? Now I've seen everything. -

My pressing sounds incredible. Very clear and crisp recording from a unique night in their Fillmore West Spring run in 1969. Mastering is excellent too, pricy for 3 LP but that is 2022 inflation hitting vinyl

Edited 3 years agothe us versions say PRINTED IN THE USA below the barcode on the back....
the eu versions say MANUFACTURED IN below the barcode on the back
the bar code is identical
the us lps say usa right on the label on the record
they eu lps say right on the label on the record -
Made in - USA !!!
My copy (this is the only one listed) is identical with ALL info/photos here (incl stickers), look at the Label photos who shows - Made in .
Does anyone control the info here ??? -
Edited 3 years agoJust checking, but does the first set of this show (up to and including cosmic charlie) sound not as good as the second set? Particularly the vocals sound a bit worse than the second set. I'm second-guessing myself as to whether it's just my perception, or if my copy has a pressing defect or something.

Anybody else getting some ticks/pops towards the end of doing that rag - during Jerry's beautiful solo? I'm on my second copy and both have the same issue.
-
This vinyl sounds top notch! Barely any distortion. Just superb sound quality for recording equipment of this time. Great remaster job and I just love PLANGENT PROCESS.
-
Sounds pretty great. Silent wax. Big soundstage and dynamic. Comparable or better than Feb 27 Rhino vinyl release. A shit ton better than the MoFi Live/Dead OMR release containing much of this show (which somehow mixed out Jerry).
