Simon (Pearson) had monopoly on Attack records, being the first to drop both this and Ecsta- Deal at a "rave" party back in the early days of "raves". He dropped this one at an FTT and the entire place lost it's fucking mind... 10,000 people off their gordes and he dropped this? Simon was like that... but then, so was Emmanuel Top... this track in particular.

Edited 7 years agoEmmanuel Top is a true legend and Turkich Bazar, for me, is the best alltime track of him and the deepnes and go Forward factor is more then massive. One of the best Trance tracks of all time and one of the best Techno tracks of all time too. His Music will live exactly as long as Vinyl will be played by the humans or longer.

The distinctive lyrics "The music was new, black, polished chrome and came over the summer like liquid night" used in "Turkich Bazar" were written by Jim Morrison of The Doors fame. These lines are originally cited by the man himself in the poem "Black Polished Chrome", which appears on the Doors-LP "An American Prayer". There the poem continues with the (quite fitting) words "The DJ's took pills to stay awake and play for seven days".
