Another Italodisco instrumental that ended up in gay porn of the 80s, in this case the videos of future B-movie director David DeCoteau (under his "David McCabe" pseudonym).

Almost rock-isk italo disco record. At least the vocals. Great record!

Mr. Disc Organization MD 31812 is really good quality.
Nothing else to say. I am glad I got it. I am even thinking this got off the master tapes.
            Great purchase in my opinion.

funny thing... in the mid 80's (around summer of 1986)... the vocal version of this song was played @ 45 rpm (very chipmunk sounding) @ the age of 16 and over clubs in los angeles, california, usa... it was a hit with all of us teens @ the time (under age drinking, you name it)... could not get enough of it...

Claudio Simonetti is one of the original of the fusion band Goblin. I Need Love was an underground club hit in the mid-late 80's and was featured many times in mix sets done by Detroit D.J. The Wizard(Jeff Mills).

it was a major breakdancing song in Chicago as well. But then we would break to "Rain Forest" by Paul Hardcastle, so a lot would get appropriated.

A huge underground hit both in Europe, but also over in Detroit where it became a bit of an early classic, perhaps due in part to the subtle funky sounding rifts. The instrumental mix is the most popular here. A basic early sounding beat, coupled with an unusual shuffled high hat, and distinct lack of backing bassline make this a stand out track. The shuffled high hat and beat was sampled a few months later on the disco mix of Steel Mind's "Bad ion" on the same record label Delirium. A true italo classic.
