Edited 3 years agoQuite a lot of improvements over the inital vinyl mix. Here a lot of effort has been put to obtain a hifi stereo mix, and the constant clipping of the vocals has been fixed. It is very nice to listen to a 21st century version of one of my favourite rock albums. And the yellow-black coloured vinyl is a nice collector's item. I have always loved this album from the first till the last track. It is a pity that the colours are not as adverted because that was really stunning, and the actual colours are a bit weak, but I would buy any future release as well even if it were space pussy pink ;-) -
The sound is alright. Maybe a bit tinny and thin during some parts. My copy has Side A labels on both sides, which is pretty funny. -
One of the worst sounding records I have ever bought. It made me think there was something wrong with my cart/turntable. -
Is This The Same Master Tapes They Used For The Salvo Box Set - When Slade Rocked The World Or Is It A New One? There Is No Information About The Mastering Anywhere
