Much much better than the MVD vinyl pressing or the pREServed edition. This is not the same mono mix as the MVD vinyl issue, and this doesn't have dynamic range compression out the ass like the pREServed edition. Pressing itself is fairly good quality too, and the green is cool I guess but really is of no importance to me.

Edited 2 years agoYou can still get these for 30 bucks. Don't buy from these discogs flippers!
edit these are gone now!!! -
An incredible pressing of a classic LP.
No complaints in regards to the sound or pressing quality!
The top right cover of my copy is a wee bit bent but otherwise? A stunning reissue. -

Edited 3 years agoThis is probably the best sounding like, NEWER release of this, but it sounds kinda brickwalled compared to the 1988 Torso pressing which seems to be a bit rare sadly. Also, speed is off on this one, runs pretty slow but speed adjustment fixes it. Really wish theyd just make a pressing from the original master tapes. Also, the seamless tracks on here are seamless thankfully, i recall there being an issue with that on a previous pressing. Would reccomend if you arent too too picky, but if youre super into this album, id say track down the Torso one I mentioned earlier. It does sound a lot better.

Somebody’s selling it for $75…but it’s still on sale for $26 on the Modern Harmonics website. The link is above in “Notes.”

Really nice sounding pressing, superior to any other edition I’ve heard. Absolutely essential for Rez fans.
