can I just ask who thought it was a good idea to release this on blue vinyl? Meteora is so primed for an army / olive green vinyl it blows my mind that they decided BLUE was the color this album needed.

Unfortunately, for my ears, tidal version sounds better. This is kinda flat. Hi end is little hyped, low end is in sub. Im missing good mids. (pro-ject, ortofon 2Mblue, marantz, Q-acoustic) I think that mastering is much better on digital version. It is good, but not audiophile. Love this album.

For me sound is absolutely fantastic and dinamic of the vinyl is out of this world. Much much better then cd in my opinion. Don't know if i just lucked out but i can recommend this to anyone that wants this album on vinyl. This is amazing press!
-
in my opinion the sound is really not that bad 🤷♂️ it‘s not an audiophile record but it‘s an improvement to the cd. also it‘s a dead quiet pressing with zero surface noise.

Edited 3 years agoI am really sad to say but to me, this sounds flat and dull. Put on any superb sounding record (Tone Poet, Mofi, Acoustic Sound Series) before/after this and the lack of dynamic will be obvious.
