Notes
Music from the motion picture soundtrack 'Dancer In The Dark'.
The record weights actually ~197g
Does not include sticker on front cover like Selmasongs
Some have extra barcodes: the upper sticker says "0827954015115 SELMASONGS (DIRECT METAL MASTER)" and I can't tell what the under sticker says.

this album should get a 2LP reiusse with the first disc being just selmasongs and the second disc being the songs how they are in the movie, like i've seen it all and scatterheart. they should also include her "second to last song" she sings right before the movie ends

A lot of sibilance. Might need to tone control this one a bit. Not a terrible pressing. Could be better though. It’s a shame because these songs have stood the test of time.

Mine came with a white poly-lined inner sleeve. Not the most quiet pressing with crackles every now and then, but it’s alright. Vocal distortion is indeed noticeable, but otherwise the sound quality is good. Not sure I’d recommend if you value sound quality over all else, but if you like the album and want to own it then it’s alright!

My copy came with a generic black antistatic inner-sleeve. Some harsh/distorted sibilance on voices (quite noticeable on "I've seen it all", less on "in the musicals"). A little disappointed by the very last moments of "New World" which should be the climax but unfortunately sounds crushed. Overall it's a pleasure to listen to but I was expecting a flawless sounding record for a DMM that got such praise. I like how the bass sounds just right and the overall dynamic though.
