Anyone here also has beginning of side 4 super noisy for some reason, happening of course during the quietest track and sounding like a campfire ? Surfaces were looking clean though ...
-
Like others have said, mine had some loose vinyl chips in the sleeve with the records, but luckily, nothing got scratched terribly.
-
my copy of this came with an extra chip of vinyl in the inner sleeve for disc 1 which scratched it up prior to me opening it. probably won't happen to you, but i also had issues with their earth mother reissue being noisy, so i felt compelled to inform people that the j-jazz masterclass series was 2/2 on product defects in my book

Now if we can only get an audiophile pressing of Daguri! I’d love to see the label, We Release Jazz (from WRWTFWW) do it.
-
my (sealed) copy came with a stray piece of vinyl rattling around disc 1’s inner sleeve which caused a cluster of scratches on the disc at some point prior to my opening of the packaging. label not willing to replace. crazy that there’s an unflattering sticker directly on the cover too. bummer.
-
Ok, someone at BBE should be reaching out to Pallas for putting the sticker directly on the cover - that is a serious party-foul and is an automatic points deduction. I mean really...WTF. Putting all that time and effort into a sleeve just to have someone slap a sh*tty sticker on it....gonna take it for a scrub on the VPI and see what this baby sounds like.

Anyone know what's up with the "Made in Czech Republic" writing on the labels? The runouts definitely don't look like GZ Media but curious why it says that. Maybe the packaging was made there?
