Finally acquired a copy. Cost me $100 on eBay but is NM/NM with the 10", factory shrink and hype sticker. Not a steal but a decent price IMO. I doubt I will get it cheaper.
This album belongs in the "must have" category with so many others from that era (Nevermind, Ten, Superunknown, Mad Season, Facelift, Ritual De Lo Habitual, etc.). It's a great day anytime you can bring home one of these 90's OG's! -
Hi, I'm looking for an archive copy of "Too High to Die" w/ 10" "Raw Meat". Long live the meat, thanks, and ok-bye!

Finally found a NM promo copy with the 10” “in the wild” for only $50. Grabbed it immediately and so glad I did. Fantastic pressing. Such a classic and sounds killer. Amazed it’s never been reissued.

Edited 4 years agoThis is indeed a very nice and good pressing. I have some pops here and there. But the sound is good in all frequenties and warm bass! I am very happy with it. I also have the cd. The vinyl is a bit more distorted in the high frequenties sometimes. You can hear it sometimes when they speak the letter 's in the songs. Especially with the hidden track : lake of fire
The master is not loud which makes you turn it a little louder and then I hear not a lot of surface noise which is nice.
This is still the best meat puppets album for me! Top! -
Edited 5 years agoThis is a quality spin. Super realistic percussion. You can hear those skins being pounded even in the most delicate parts. Very nice deep, defined bass and a surging, prominent, warm and smooth guitar tone that’s flows like a hot knife through butter (not sure that’s the right analogy but you know what I mean). This album was recorded and mastered very well for the vinyl format and the final production is sweet and sensational. The songs sound really good, tight, well balanced and harmonious. Great definition and analog girth. This record can serve as an example of how run time doesn’t effect the sound quality of each side if its pushed to the max as long as the mastering is well done the music can shine, focused and direct. Recommended.
