Like reviews below, I'm absolutely floored by the sound of this record. It's like they're in the next room. Lovely to look at too, and sleeve notes, surprisingly, by Kenneth Tynan, and as discussed, audio to thrill to. Got mine on ebay for £20

Stunning Remaster, Reissue Compilation. The recording dates are listed in the liner notes. The early to mid 1950s recordings sound stunning, detailed, dynamic and "live" in this Double LP mono album. Time Travel at its best.

Amazing sound. Totally surprised. There is not even ‘Van Gelder’ in the runout groove.
