I had real issues with two copies of this pressing. Horrible skip on the run in on track one side one and really bad grating noise on the right channel about half way through side two. In between the sound was clean and warm but these two faults make it unplayable in my view and it was returned.

Edited 3 years agoMy first copy arrived with loud audible non-fills on tracks A1, A2, B5 & B6. Also, the surface is a little noisy. Finally, from A6 to the end of side A and B6 to the end of side B, inner groove distortion and compression set in probably because of the total duration of the musical content. Sure the conical stylus on my old (~475hrs) DL103 adjusted to Stevenson is not helping here...
Anyway, I'm still waiting for the replacement copy and I shall comment later. I will give it an ultrasonic clean to get rid of the static and maybe it will help with the surface noise. In the meantime, I recommend this pressing if you can find a well pressed copy for a very reasonnable price since to my ears, the sound is a little more "vibrant" compare to my CD version.
