We can use this one reissued on splatter vinyl... more than a few years back, these were trading hands for solid money on vinyl... even though mine was original in shrink it was played to death, can trying to pick up a copy to replace it and being shocked at the asking prices... still a tough one to find clean for cheap, even post eBay and post discogs... let's go Rhino put it out, RSD...or sumpin...

I think this has some place in history as one of the first remix albums by a pop act. Non-Stop Ecstatic Dancing by Soft Cell and Love & Dancing by the League Unlimited Orchestra were in close proximity, and there may be others I'm not aware of.

Basic pyramid stone album from the 80s, whoever does not have this album is missing a piece of the decade, it is incredible that no one has reissued it again

This is a must for every B52 Rocker, or Dancer should I say. The recording is absolutely incredible and the songs are great remixes. Such a good addition to my collection.

The version of "Dance This Mess Around" is absolutely righteous on this EP. Fun record to throw on when you and guests are making bad decisions, or, if you're a lazy DJ :)

Edited 7 years agoShrink wrap included a 3.25" x 2.25" octagonal decal stating "Limited Edition. Hot Re-mixes Of Your Favorite Songs for Partyin' Only. MINI 3596" (with a image an image of a firecracker)

I had all the B-52 albums, preserved in pristine condition, from when I bought them back in the ‘80s but I never had Party Mix. I recently picked up a used copy in near mint condition. I didn’t’ realize that this was a “mix” record—very cool! My copy is whisper quiet and has an amazingly strong signal. Five stars all the way! Totally rad, like… fur sure!
