I agree with the previous comments. The picture disk is very loud and takes away from the listening experience. Too bad because the album is quite good.

Good album... I completely agree with DJFunkyGroove... this pic disc sounds terrible. It is noisy as hell and looks terrible to boot. I have yet to hear the black 180 gm vinyl but it can't sound worse than this one. The 7 in is a nice addition.

The audio quality of this picture disc is, well, moderately low. Even more, the pictures are not too appealing, so the only reason that one could go for the picture-disc-version instead of the 180g-Vinyl-version is IMHO the Bonus 7''.
However, thumbs up for the Black Crowes!
