Quality start to finish. Terrific dynamic pressing doing justice to perhaps some of Bruce’s best music for sometime!! Jacket and inner sleeves are all top quality as is the booklet. Some rice type paper used?? Looks interesting but screams quality. Don’t hesitate pull the trigger on this one!!

Dommage que le rédacteur ait fait l'ime sur le livret. C'est vrai que c'est un travail énorme, mais ce superbe album en mérite amplement la peine .

Grey Vinyl Review my feelings written as i listen live, with no overdubs.

'One Minute You're Here' this moves me to tears as life really is like this, the loss of others and of our plans is hard to deal with and acknowledge at times, but loss is a rich part of a life journey, it has to be embraced at some point and it feels that Bruce has reached that point here and now.

'Letter to you' I'll need at least another listen to really get into this track, or am i still recovering from the emotions of 'One Minute..' either way its still hitting the mark but not quite as deeply as i feel it will after a further listen.

'Burnin Train' feels like a rage against something that's often held inside unsaid.

'Janey Needs A Shooter' a younger Bruce's point of view expressed in a more life experienced voice it grabbed my attention, and Side A is over far too quickly and its time to get up and turn the record over.

'Last Man Standing' I’m moved again as Bruce reflects upon those around him in his early years having now ed away.

‘The Power of Prayer’ this is another that will need listening to again fully appreciate, although it’s pleasant enough even a first play.

‘House Of A Thousand Guitars’ I’ve tears in my eyes again, for me this is so heartfelt from the broken voice as the vocals begins to the simple piano and arrangement building as it goes on to allow deeply hidden feelings surface and the flatness of the drum beat later all deliberately put together in a positive and hopeful way, at times a tough emotional listen but all the better for it.

‘Rainmaker’ this is for me simply a pleasant listen, perhaps as US Politics doesn’t strike a chord for me in the UK so I’m not the intended audience for the sentiments expressed in this track and Side B is over, this has been a listen over in a flash, time to put the first disc back in its arty sleeve and put Side C on the turntable.

‘If I Was The Priest’ this is an excellent revisiting of an old song with all the added experience that Bruce and the Band can bring with a lifetime now past since they started out, I’m enjoying it immensely.

‘Ghosts’ this is a celebration of those who are no longer with us, delivered in an upbeat and positive way, acknowledging their part in our own journeys and none the less moving for it, this is a track to be listened to often.

‘Song For Orphans’ again a revisiting played with all the maturity and experiences the E Street Band and Bruce have accumulated over the years between, a good listen.

‘I’ll See You In My Dreams’ another very heartfelt track, wrapped in a celebration and positive hope for the future albeit tugging at emotions not always acknowledged in day to day life, all in all a fitting end to Side C and the album.

The Grey Vinyl version I’ve listened to was bought from HMV in the UK, this is a superb album, the vinyl in my pressing is flat and quiet, with its Arty Gatefold Cover and stylish Sleeves, to the 12” booklet sharing photos from the recording sessions, plus lyrics, some in Bruce’s own hand all add to the listening experience.

If you’re hesitating about getting it, I’d recommend jumping in, there is so much emotion and deep feelings expressed, rather than merely hinted at, that everyone will find something here to enjoy and connect with. Bruce at 71 back with the E Street Band and in 4 or 5 days in 2020 they have given us all something to take with us on our remaining journey through life.

Why is Grey spelt incorrectly as Gray in this European Released listing ?
I'd correct it but not sure how to amend it , i realise that Gray is a US spelling but in the UK & Europe it is listed by retailers as Grey so surely this is how the European release should be spelt

Does anyone now what material the inner sleeves are made of? I’ve read that some plastic material are bad for vinyl.

My mam, who is a HUGE fan of Bruce Springsteen, is saying this is his best album in so many years. She recommends it, so highly. One thing she does say though, is that a gentleman of Bruce’s age should not be out in the snow, without a wooly hat on, as he could get sick. Especially with the Covid-19 still around. She is now intent on knitting Bruce a nice warm bobble hat, and handwritten an email to Columbia/Sony Music, for Bruce’s head circumference measurements!!

Was always going to get this but wonder how truly ‘limited’ an edition it is given that already getting on for 350 are already listed here on day 1....!
