Does anybody know what material the inner sleeve is made of? And if it damages the record over time (like with PVC)? And if yes, what could i use to replace it with? -

And it doesn't end here: of course we need all the formats for different purposes, the CD for instant play, the casette because it's interesting to have such a strange format, the SACD, well, because . . .
At some point I might make a fruit bowl out of the picture disc, I just need to find a way to fill up the hole. -
The best way to play this Seventeen Seconds picture disc is to have two turntables:
In the sitting room you have the SS picture disc with its grainy smears of the B&W grass cover image spinning its spin on your lovely turntable, it's not hooked up to the speakers. Every now and then, as friends are chatting you look lovingly across at the disc spinning its spin, bobbing your head to the sound of Secrets: the clean fresh, spacious pure sound with whispers in the background - so delicate.
In the closet you have a second turntable, and on that turntable you spin the standard Seventeen Seconds black vinyl singing its way to your speakers with sound - ahhhh the unique sound of Secrets, a head concoction.
See the picture disc spinning (all flimsy grey blurry grass plastic atwirl), hear the black vinyl playing - sublime. -
For what it's worth I thought the sound quality of this was pretty good. Better then the bloodflowers picture disk which was a double but doesn't sound quite as crisp. -
US copy has note: "Record Store Day exclusive release of 7.500 copies". Does the limitation (7.500 copies) is for both US and Europe version or it's only for US version?
