Didn't realize how expensive this version is, I buying this at the machine girl gecs tour and being disappointed I didn't get a colored version. And yet now even this version is looked for. My copy sounds great over headphones and speakers. Loud, bassy with no pops or noise. This album art looks so insane when you pull it off the shelf. No lyric sheet or anything which is sad :( beautiful pressing tho

Edited 2 years agoThe vinyl itself has good sound quality, barely any pops or crackles, but the albums production sounds like shit played over speaker. It seems to have been mixed on headphones drowned in reverb.

my copy is kinda quieter all around, not super bass-heavy and lacks a lot of high end. not sure if mine was just a bad copy or if everyone's sounds like this, but i'm a bit disappointed.

Sounds good on my set up but I need to clean it as there's lots of crackles throughout playback.
The spindle hole on my copy is rather a tight fit, had to push it down onto the spindle & the only way so get it off was by lifting off the platter to avoid breaking the record which is some hassle.
There's also some surface marks on both sides but didn't effect playback.
I was still glad to add this one to my collection, it's my first MG record, love the artwork & pleased with the sound quality.

My side A sounded great, Side B was good but had residue marks all over it, tried cleaning the record but ultimately still affected the sound quality

Edited 2 years agoWhile I have personally fallen in love with the album, side A sounds alright on some of the more intense tracks, though I can understand why. To me side B sounds absolutely phenomenal, and it has all of my favorite tracks, so it works out in the end. The coloring on the vinyl is also a bit weird, its more grey than any of my other black records. Regardless, an absolute gem of an album to own, and a great display piece as the cover looks stunning!
*EDIT*: This record sounds A LOT better on a nice pair of headphones! -
sounds okay. probably sourced from an MP3 or something. lots of ticks and pops throughout, even after cleaning. cover looks sick. its okay.
