Killer album. Killer packaging. Killer sound. My local shop snags a lot of imports, so I'm stoked to have been able to buy this in The States. The sonics and textures are so interesting on this relatively minimalist production. It's a great to hear on vinyl. -
Another great sounding pressing from Lanegan. My record store reached out to me to let me know they received an additional few copies of the crystal clear and asked if I wanted one set aside so I said yes. A clear, full, loud sounding record. Same quality pressing as his last effort from the Mark Lanegan Band.
I’m interested to know how many of these there will be because initially I couldn’t find any copies to purchase. Can’t decide if I’m lucky or if there will be more circulating out there. -
Do we have any idea on how many of these Crystal Clear vinyls were made?
Contrary to previous releases, this one does actually seem to be limited...sold out everywhere, even official webstore. -
Edited 5 years agoRecency bias in full effect, but I feel like this is his best record in years. There are some instant classics on there, e.g. Ballad of a Dying Rover.
High quality pressing in my opinion, clean throughout except on Ketamine. Although that could be because of my quick cleaning process! -
