i have the repressing from like 2021-2022 sounds great and is beautiful but the pink splotch drives me crazy -
Newly repressed purchaser here! Sadly the sides A/D have a darker color and the purple is harder to see but the B/C sides are gorgeously bright! Album has some surface noise but plays loudly so not much to complain about here! -
Edited 4 months agoGreat pressing but my second record has 2 Side C labels. Thankfully though it's complete, with "Leave Me Lonely" starting on one side and "Bad Decisions" on the other. I'm just going to have to figure out which side is actually side c and side d -
My copy thankfully came pretty good the swirl is more prominent on the B and D side of the discs -
Edited 6 months agoMy copy of this doesn't look like a swirl. The purple just shows on the side lol either way the sound on disc 1 is perfect while disc 2 has pops on the first 2 tracks.
Probably just going to wait it out for another press on 10th anniversary -
Bought this from an Australian reseller and was hoping it didn’t have a pink blob. It did have some pink but it was so small it’s barely noticeable! Stunning pressing and no static at all on my copy and the purple and black contrast is great. So happy to have this pressing! -
Seems like the repress versions are slightly less purple (almost black) and include the pink blob. Doesn’t bother me too much especially with how incredible this pressing sounds. Discs are super thin, but almost no surface noise at all. Bass is deep and vocals are crisp. -
Looks fantastic but the sound could be better… the record is really noisy with a lot of background noise even after 3 wet-cleans. An my copy also has a big pop in the first second of Into You. -
Disc 1 of my copy is HORRIBLY noisy. Practically unlistenable because of how much background noise there is, pretty disappointed :(. A few thorough deep cleans couldn’t help, probably received a dud. Disc 2 on the other hand sounds fine. As far as the mastering itself goes, this album sounds great on vinyl! Nice bass, dynamic vocals, no distortion. -
love this pressing!! sounds great! but my only complaint is the distortion of arianas voice on side to side
