Red Garland's block chord piano solo on Surrey is worth the price of ission alone.
This is my favorite of the four albums recorded at the 1956 sessions for Prestige. -

Edited 10 years agoAlthough not released until '61, this album comes form the same two sessions in '56 that produced the "Cookin' With", "Relaxin' With" and "Workin' With" albums. It has the same live feel to it, I don't quite like the selection as much as the other three, but still a great album
