One of the albums from my generation that's already certain to go down in history as a classic. In the field of hip-hop I can't think of anything that has received such good reception and that has been given such importance. Incredibly good sequencing, the album is a self-contained work of art, a great concept, musically top notch with great jazzy live instrumentals. I could go on for days praising this album. But you have to experience it yourself to fully understand it. The absolute elite of the art form of rap.
Vinyl is an unspectacular gatefold with black vinyl but very high quality. Vinyl is centered and center pressed and flat. No surface noise, punched hole just the right size and vinyl not cut off sharply at the edges. Material convinces here with very good quality. -
Great pressing In of sound quality. Production always sounded great and here is fantastic. Dynamics are really good on my system, even when this album belongs to a digital recording era.
This european version is pretty solid in this area.
Only have two problems with this version:
-The Art Cover is a png. of bad quality. Some say it is intentional but at the end it looks horrible in comparision with the inside photos.
-A lot of Surface noise and Pops (after cleaning)
on the beggining of each side.

Sounds very very beautiful, only thing is that “u” is very jumpy :/
Besides that the record sounds amazing -
With its titular reference to “To Kill A Mocking Bird” by Harper Lee, Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly (TPaB) is apposite in the title.
