Edited 5 months agoI got one of this! I don't remarqued any terrible noise on it. It is good looking also! It is a second hand, some normal noise for a sh at the begining of the disk, but after few seconds everything is OK!

Bought this from an indie store not realizing it was a bootleg (or a picture disc for that matter). There has to be 50-60dB of noise floor on this record. Horrible noise. First song I played was Chocolate Chip Trip and you could barely even hear the opening chimes/bells for all the surface noise. I would be wary of this despite some reviews saying it sounds “brilliant” etc. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was sourced from an MP3 bootleg captured from YouTube or Spotify.

This version has terrible surface noise. It is a very cool looking bootleg, but for sound quality, if you're going to buy a bootleg of this album, you're better off getting a non- picture disc version.
-
Bought this sealed bootleg for around $35. I cannot speak for anyone else's experience, but my copies play flawlessly and the sound quality is near identical to CD or high quality MP3.

This just arrived, sound quality is brilliant for a bootleg. Playing through a Sony deck and Bose sound touch 30 and two Bose Sound touch 10's. Surface noise is an absolute minimum and better than many official releases. A great copy to add to the Tool collection. Can only think the other one star review is a poor copy. This one certainly isn't
