Sept19. 1st listen. I actually could not get through this in one listen, so this was a little disted. The sounds on here are awesome, as usual, but I have no idea what song I am listening to. Even the titles don't help. I wonder how many people have had to google these to get any meaning from them. I guess the interlude tracks were there to break up the 'songs' but they don't really help and some don't need to be there at all. A better move would have been to vary the length of some of the actual songs, rather than them all being over 10 minutes!
Maybe their aim is to make sure you have several listens and this will grow on the listener. I am sure that will be the case for me, but that might be years from now. I am not sure how many days off work I would need to get through this album several times.
Anyway, '7empest' got my attention, but that could just be b/c that's where I picked up my listening on second go. I am sure my rating will go up as I hear this more.
Jan20. Okay, I am slowly starting to sort out the songs here, but it is more like parts of songs that I love, and often they are well into the song, like the guitars about 2/3s of the way into 'Descending'. '7empest' is still my favourite whole song. I like 'Pneuma' just over 'Fear Inoculum' and on most recent listens, 'Invincible' got my attention. Upping the score as there is no denying brilliance here, I just still have trouble knowing what song I am listening to. 4/5 -

My version of this (on silver vinyl) actually sounds excellent. On par with the purple Aenima and much much better than my red 10,000 Days. Still holding out for an official release though. -
I did Not Expect too much.
For me it Sounds absolut ok.
But you can Heart it is a bootleg.
It crackles silent before the Sound Starts. That is all.

Its a boot so beggars can't be choosers regarding sound quality. Noise and thin in areas. Aenima (purple)and 10k days (red)boots are much better if using as a measuring stick.
