I really am not the biggest fan of 80's music, but slowly I'm starting to appreciate it. Rio has to be a classic, and although it is cheesy it is worth a listen, and it is important in music culture. When this album came out people went made for it, and 'Durandemonium' hit the country. I do like the hit singles, but my favourite track on the album is 'The Chauffeur', I don't know why, it's just infectious. Duran Duran's sound is very glamorous, slick and glossy, it's a bit to clean really, and could do with a bit more harder sound. Overall I was quite surprised with this album, it's much better than I expected, but it still needs to grow on me.
