Great to have a piece of art signed by the producer himself

Definitly better sounding than the CD version (Surprise!). Vinyl is without crackle and pops

I did not experience the "stodginess" descriped by Ramzy. Nice separation and lots of detail with a full, rich sound. Using a Nagaoka MP500 on an unmodified Kenwood KD750.

        The album itself:
A somewhat lackluster uneven effort. A major loss of quality in song material when comparing with "X&Y" and "Parachutes". Too many tracks have the form of segues rather than songs (Example:"Yes"). Others are just downright naively sounding diddies (Example: "Viva La Vida" and "Strawberry Swing"). To me many of the tracks feel as either only snippets of a song or alternatively an unfinished same. "Cemeteries of London" still shines as the best track by far though and this track alone justifies buying the album, but only on vinyl (This version) due to the enhanced sound when comparing to the CD version.

Are all the pressings of this so stodgy? It's a very heavily layered album and I've not heard a digital copy so maybe it just isn't supposed to sparkle, but there really doesn't seem to be much going on in the high frequencies. I'm playing it with an ortofon bronze which is normally extremely detailed so it's particularly noticeable compared with other records... Thanks!
